# Saturday, April 25, 2026 > [!quote] Carmelite Morning Offering (St. Thรฉrรจse) > O my God, I offer You all my actions of this day for the intentions and for the glory of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. I desire to sanctify every beat of my heart, my every thought, my simplest works, by uniting them to Its infinite merits; and I wish to make reparation for my sins by casting them into the furnace of Its merciful love. O my God, I ask of You for myself and for those whom I hold dear the grace to know You, and to know and fulfill perfectly Your holy will, to accept for love of You the joys and sorrows of this passing life, so that we may one day be united together in Heaven for all eternity. Amen. --- [[20260426-morning-offering|Next โ†’]] ## ๐Ÿ•ฐ๏ธ Liturgy of the Hours > [!links] Universalis & Office > - [Office of Readings](http://www.universalis.com/20260425/readings.htm) | [Morning Prayer (Lauds)](http://www.universalis.com/20260425/lauds.htm) > - [Evening Prayer (Vespers)](http://www.universalis.com/20260425/vespers.htm) | [Night Prayer (Compline)](http://www.universalis.com/20260425/compline.htm) --- ## ๐Ÿ“– Daily Readings & Verse > [!cite] Daily Readings > **Verse:** "One of the scribes, when he came forward and heard them disputing and saw how well he had answered them, asked him, "Which is the first of all the commandments?" You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.' The second is this: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' You have died for me, and I in turn make myself over to you. I am not my own. You have bought me; I will by my own act and deed complete the purchase. My wish is to be separated from everything of this world; to cleanse myself simply from sin; to put away from me even what is innocent, if used for its own sake, and not for yours. I put away reputation and honor, and influence, and power, for my praise and strength shall be in you. Mark became one of the 70 disciples of Jesus and the author of the Gospel that bears his name. According to tradition, St. Peter the Apostle was married to a relative of St. Mark's father, and after Mark's father died, Peter looked after him like his own son. Being a close disciple of St. Peter, the first Bishop of Rome, Mark's Gospel is addressed to Gentile converts to the Christian faith living in Rome. Most of what we know about his life and missionary activity is recorded in the New Testament. He traveled to Egypt and founded the Church there, and was martyred c. 68 A.D. by being dragged through the streets of Alexandria until his body was torn to pieces. St. Mark is the patron of lawyers and prisoners. His feast day is April 25. --- ## ๐Ÿ•ฏ๏ธ Monthly Devotion: Month of The Holy Eucharist > [!attention] Focus: Month of The Holy Eucharist > > > TheAnima Christi:Soul of Christ, sanctify me.Body of Christ, save me.Blood of Christ, inebriate me.Water from the side of Christ, wash me.Passion of Christ, strengthen me.O good Jesus, hear me.Within Thy Wounds hide me.Suffer me not to be separated from Thee. From the malignant enemy, defend me.In the hour of my death, call me,And bid me come to Thee,That with Thy saints, I may praise TheeForever and ever.Amen. --- ## ๐Ÿ™ Daily Prayers > [!todo] Spiritual Communion > My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the most Blessed Sacrament.
