# Act of Consecration of the Human Race to the Sacred Heart of Jesus Most sweet Jesus, Redeemer of the human race, look upon us as we humbly kneel before you. We are yours, and we desire to be yours completely. To be more firmly united with you, each one of us freely consecrates ourselves today to your Most Sacred Heart. Many have never come to know you. Many others, disregarding your commandments, have rejected you. Have mercy on them all, most merciful Jesus, and draw them to your Sacred Heart. Be King, O Lord, not only of the faithful who have never departed from you, but also of the prodigal children who have abandoned you. Grant that they may quickly return to their Father's house, lest they perish in misery and hunger. Be King of those who are misled by error or separated by division. Lead them back to the harbor of truth and to the unity of faith, so that there may soon be one flock and one Shepherd. Grant, O Lord, to your Church freedom and protection. Grant peace, order, and harmony to all nations. May one voice resound from one end of the earth to the other: Praise be to the Divine Heart through which our salvation was won. To that Heart be glory and honor forever and ever.
