# Carmelite Night Prayer
Mary, my blessed mother, under your patronage I fly. Defend me this night against the assaults of my enemies and obtain for me the grace to spend the night free of sin and in a way pleasing to God. Holy angel guardian, my patron saint, and all you saints of God, intercede for me.
O my God, I am now going to rest in obedience to the law which You have given to nature; I unite this act of obedience with the obedience of Your divine Son who, when walking in the flesh, was subject to the same laws; and thus united, I offer them in adoration of Your divine Majesty, in thanksgiving for the graces bestowed on me during the past day, and as a penance for my sins.
Bless, O Father, my rest, that, refreshed in mind and body, I may rise in the morning with holy thoughts and the sincere will of serving You alone all the days of my life. May the divine grace always remain with me, and may the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
So, bless me, God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Jesus, into Your hands I commend my spirit. Amen.
